POINTS OF ADMISSION
GRADE N
We accept boys into Grade N in the year they turn 5. There are 3 classes of 20 boys each. The admission process begins in February, and applicants are invited to the school with their parents for an interview. The boys are observed in social interaction with their parents and spend time at an activities table.
GRADE R
In Grade R, there are 3 classes of 24 boys each, providing 12 additional places. The same interview process is followed as for Grade N.
Entry into other Grades at the Prep will be subject to vacancies and will follow an interview and include an assessment.
GRADE 8
In Grade 8, we admit 156 boys across 6 general sets of 26 students each. In addition to our Admission policy, admission is based on performance in our Entrance Exam, the final Grade 7 report, and a confidential report from their Prep School. Boys not admitted in Grade 8 may be placed on a waiting list and interviewed should a vacancy arise.
Boys from Bishops Prep are granted automatic entry, but the Principal reserves the right to refuse entry based on payment record, disciplinary record, or academic performance.
Entry in subsequent grades will be subject to vacancies and will follow an interview.
